I am so happy to finally be blogging this wedding! This was the last wedding I shot before our sweet baby girl was born in December of 2013 and there is nothing like ending your wedding season on a very awesome not! Kristen is so creative and had so many unique elements to her wedding. She turned has the ability to turn something so simple into something AMAZING! We are also so thrilled the TheKnot.com chose Kristen & Tom’s wedding for their “50 States, 50 Weddings” publication representing Ohio!

This beautiful bride turned what would normally be a simple picnic area at a Ohio state park site outside of Akron Ohio into one of the most beautiful & charming outdoor weddings with many personal touches! The Brides loves dahlias and grew her own to use in the arrangements. Blue glass mason jars were used for drinking and as centerpieces (she also loves to can ). They designed a logo that is used on the invitations and as the guest book. They made the arbor they got married under and it will later be place on the five acres that they just bought. She hand lettered all the chalk board signs. – she also placed one of her grandmothers handkerchiefs on the seat of family members
